History

July 27, 1932 to September 2, 1939: Created by smrtC951 Television Network as "Network 97", airing shows from 12:00 pm to 1:00 am. Shutdown on Earth due to WWII, continued galactic broadcasts.

September 3, 1939 to September 2, 1945: Known as "The Hiatus of N97". Renamed to Channel 97. New logo introduced with the slogan "Milky Way's Reliable Channel!", later changed to "A smrtC951 Television Network channel".

September 3, 1945 to October 5, 1977: Post-war Earth transmission resumed. In 1969, a Moon transmission was added. New logo with blue-black gradient and green ring introduced.

October 6, 1977 to December 31, 1989: Channel 97 begins color broadcasting. Logo updated with gold text and a black/white ring. Watermarks and schedule updates introduced. Shiny gradient added to logo in 1987.
